Take The Plunge and help raise $250,000 for Adelaide charities
Abseil 70 metres from the top of the InterContinental Hotel on North Terrace in Adelaide this August. Enjoy Adelaide’s best river views from the roof of the Intercontinental Hotel, challenge yourself personally and raise funds for those in our community who face far greater challenges on a daily basis.
How it works
In 2026 there will be 4 descent ropes making teams of 4 participants ideal to “Take The Plunge”. Participants can select the charity they wish to be the recipient of their fundraising.

Talk Out Loud

At Talk Out Loud we support disengaged young people facing mental health challenges by offering a secure, inclusive environment through Real Talk mentoring, THRIVE drop-in sessions, Youth Empowerment Camps, and Mental Health First Aid training delivered to schools and community groups. As Adelaide's only Youth Suicide Prevention Network, our approach blends tailored peer-led interventions with compassionate, lived-experience support, strengthening emotional resilience, creating a genuine sense of belonging within a safe community space.

Support cancer patients and their families primarily through the provision of respite homes, use of motor vehicles and other necessary items needed when attending treatment for the purposes of increasing health, strength and quality of life after treatment and during treatment.
